Spring Makeup And Spring Inspired Looks

Hello Beauties!

As you all know Spring has arrived, (unless you live under a rock), I thought why not to share with you all some of my favorite spring makeup looks and spring inspired looks. These are some of my favorite looks that i found on the internet through different sources and i enjoyed them all. Spring makeup has this unique liberty of colors that comes with it, every spring inspired looks have light and bright colors, and even darker colors of different shades. The skin looks dewy and young and each color pops up and illuminates it's own brightness.

 Colors Of The Spring:

Spring is this beautiful season of new start and hundreds of colors can represent it's beauty, regeneration and the "new birth" that spring actually stands for.
There are many kinds flowers of vibrant colors and beautiful contrasts, beautiful creatures like butterflies and honey bees, a shiny yet not-too-hot sun sparkling all day long. The young flowers in pinks, reds, violets, and other gorgeous colors. A longer spanned brownish-orange sunset with golden edges. And a Starry deep blue night sky. Spring cover the whole family of colors.
Therefore, whatever color you choose, it will give a life and meaning to your love with the spring.

The most famous of all the contrasts are greens along with any other shade chosen. It is mainly because Green color is the most abundant in spring as plants get back to life after a season long sleep in winters.

How To Take Care Of Your Hands At Home- Homemade Remedy For Smooth Hands

Hey Beauties!

Before i start the regular blog, i want to apologize for disappearing from the surface for that long, i had some undone jobs to deal with. Now let's get to the blog that is about how to have smoother hands and how to take care of your hands at home in winters by a simple homemade remedy that is easy to prepare and use altogether. So without wasting more time let's get straight to the secret of smoother softer hands all by yourself at home.
Who doesn't like nice hands? i know winters right? But who said you can't win this battle when you can always have an access to the secret to soft, beautiful hands. And apart from the dry hands looking not to nice, it is also harmful for you might get cuts and cracks as mostly people do in winters when their skin is not moisturized enough. And regular body butters or body lotions won't work unless you apply and keep reapplying it all the day which is kind of frustrating in it's self. However, drinking a lot of water and keeping your skin moisturized is the only way to fight this battle.

Things you'll need:

So first thing's first, you gotta take out all the ingredients and thing you will be needing and have them ready in front of you before getting started. Basically you will need ;

  • three cups
  • a knife
  • an airtight jar/bottle.

Ingredients:

Glycerin:

Glycerin is a sugar alcohol and is vastly used in moisturizers and body creams. It is also used in soaps to restore moisture of the skin. Glycerin is used as moisturizer all by itself as well.
So what you need is a cup of regular glycerin.

Rose Water:

If you don't know about benefits of rose water then that's really strange. For rose water is popular for being an anti-oxidant agent and for helping in reducing the aging and preventing wrinkles and fine lines. In addition to these qualities and much more, rose water is highly recommended as a toner for it cleans the pores and also hydrates the skin at the same time. It also brings glow to the skin and is used in many facial care kits and treatments.
Here, you will need a cup of Rose Water for your magic moisturizer.

Lemon Juice:

OK this is optional and is recommended for night time but if you plan to use this magic moisturizer in the day time, than i recommend not adding lemon juice in the entire mixture but store it in a separate jar and take a few drops along with the main mixture at night. While use the lemon-free moisturizer in the sun.
Lemon juice is king of cleansers when it comes to home remedies, it fights acne and aging and helps keeps the skin spotless and glowing.
For the amount of ingredients prescribed above, you'll need one regular size organic lemon. Just squeeze it into a cup remove the seeds and you're good to go.

Method:

Mix all the ingredients together and put in an airtight jar or bottle and store in a cool dry place.

Usage:

Apply this magic moisturizer on your hands and feet every night before going to sleep. It might give you a funny feeling in the start but you'll get used to it and you'll love it when you start seeing the difference. Even the worst sort of skin can recover within 14-20 days if time and it's regular use will do wonders for you.

So try this out and let me know if you like it. I'll come again with more remedies, reviews and makeup techniques. See ya soon :)

Kim Kardashian Inspired Makeup And Kardashian Makeup Tips

Hey beauties! This blogpost for you all is to give you an idea about Kim Kardashian Makeup Tips so you can recreate Kim Kardashian Inspired Makeup Looks. Kim is always looking gorgeous, however a few of her are very beautiful and would look pretty on all skin types. So without further details let's jump straight to the steps.

I wanted to categorize Kim's looks into Formal event makeup, Party makeup and wedding makeup looks. I will be posting in three of them. But for now let's focus on the looks suitable for Formal events, inspired by Kim Kardashian's makeup.

Full Coverage Base:

Kim always has coverage base underneath her makeup, that gives her a flawless glow. Use cream base at first and set it with powders later on for long-lasting makeup.

Foundation:

A medium or full coverage foundation can be used to get this look.

Concealer:

Under eye areas are fully concealed and buffed with loose powder.

Contour:

Contour hollows of your cheekbones with no hesitation, that's Kim Kardashian's signature makeup essential according to me. Because whatever the look is, it is always her base that makes a statement.

Blush:

Use Peach-Pink colors for blush JUST ABOVE THE CONTOUR LINE.

Powders:

Set off your makeup base with some loose powder. Try a shade that give warmness to your skin tone as Kim always has that effect on her face.

Whereto Contour&Highlight:

Contour on
  • the hollows of your cheeks,
  • sides and tip of your nose with a small contour brush
  • your jaw-line(this will need a lot of contouring)
  • Temples of your forehead.

Highlight the the areas where light hits your face
  • start off by highlighting the center of your forehead,
  • the bridge of your nose,
  • Top of your cheekbones,
  • also highlight your Cupid's bow and chin.

Defined Eyes:

Kim has deep set eyes. Perfectly highlighted and lots of lashes and mascara.

Highlight:

  • Use a golden eyeshade for your highlight. Highlight your brow bone with a gold shadow.
  • For your inner corners use a regular highlighter that would popup your eyes.

Crease:

If you look at this photo, she has a very soft cat-eye shape going on in the outer edges.

  • Start by using a matte brown on your crease and blend it all the way into your crease.

Defining Your Shadow:

Use a very tiny amount of a darker brown or black-brown color to define your outer edge of your eyes. Kim has a very defined outer edge even though the colors used are not harsh at all.

Tip:

Use a card or and straight thing like a makeup brush and place it in a way that it joins the end of your brow bone and outer corner of the eyes in line and work your way fro outwards to inwards for a better result. This will help you get the cat-eye shape.

Eyeliner:

This is the part where you have to work your best.

  • Use a matte black eye pencil to line your upper lashline and your lower water lines.
  • Apply a black gel eyeliner close to your upper and lower lash-lines and avoid winging it out if you wanna stick to the same look Kim has in the photo above.

Lash-job:

  • You can always use false lashes.
  • Better cut the lashes into two parts before applying to make the application easy.
  • Curl your lashes and finish your eye makeup by applying loads of your favorite mascara.

Nude Lips:

  • Use Nude liner to line your lips and a nude lipstick.
  • Don't forget to finish of with a gloss.

So this was my blog on Kim Kardaishian inpsired makeup and makeup tips to recreate that look. These were a few tips which, if you'll follow, will help you in creating this look that is perfect for Formal Events. Stay tuned for more I'll see you guys soon.

Top Multitasking Beauty Essentials Every Girl Should Have

Hello Beauties! If you guys travel a lot or you want to create perfect everyday looks with little bit of change but you don't want to fill up your bag with makeup essentials, or you don't wanna use too many products, then this blog is gonna teach you how to do that, simply by giving you a list of beauty multitaskers that are easy-to-carry and also the methods to use certain beauty product and cosmetics to perform multitasks of make.

Every girls has this one phase where she doesn't want to use too many products but still would like to wear some makeup. Working women, busy moms, women who are travelling often, school/college girls, there are many categories of females who don't have a lot of time to do their makeup on daily bases, nor can they carry a bunch of products around with them.
To lessen the cosmetics in your makeup bag you obviously need to organize your makeup bag, but as far as the job of choosing the mutitasking beauty products and using your regular beauty products as multitaskers is concerned, read down the content below to get to know it all.

Multitaskers Makeup Brushes:

Doing makeup with less brushes takes a little bit of technique but once you're used to, it's a relief, trust me. Use a kabuki brush or a regular makeup brush for your loose powder and blusher together. Just make sure you start of with a clean brush everyday.
A regular sized eye shadow brush is perfect for all types of your eye makeup. If you're using darker eye shadows, you can use a q-tip to blend that out. A little practice can make it very easy for you.
Use a your fingers to apply and blend all creamy products and also your highlighters.

Tinted Moisturizers:

If you don't have one of these make sure you get one today. Buy your self a tinted moisturizer it gives you a light coverage and also acts as a moisturizer. Some of these come with an SPF which makes it a 3 in 1 product. But even without an SPF this products is perfect if you don't wanna go through the moisturizer, foundation and primer stages. Just wear a sunblock followed by tinted moisturizer and your make up base is ready.

Multipurpose Lipsticks;

Always keep a pink or peach lipstick according to your preference in your make up bag. Along with it's services to pop up your lips, it can always act as a cream blush for you. And winters need more of a cream based makeup look because the skin is always dry, so it's perfect for this season.

Highlighters:

If you don't like to spend time on applying and correcting your concealer, just highlight the regular highlighting zones of your face and your face will look much better and awake, even without concealer. Highlighter at the same time also reduces the need of contouring. Because in early mornings, no one likes to spend time on contouring either.
You can always use some lipgloss instead of your regular highlighter by the way, but that depends, do try the lip gloss as a highlighter and let me know if it works for you too.

Make Your Blusher a 2 in 1 Product:

You regular blusher can not only stay your blusher but also act as an eye shadow for you. And what ever blusher you use, trust me it;s gonna look pretty natural and flawless on your eyes.

Lash Curler:

No need to apply mascara on daily basis, at least i don't recommend using mascara every day, i prefer curling my lashes. Because even if you keep curling your lashes over and over again, it wont harm your lashes. Not that mascara does, but it's still a product on your natural lashes while a lash curler simply curl and makes your lashes look perfect.

White Eye Pencil:

You can use a white pencil not only to brighten up your eyes but you can also use it as a highlighter. Simply apply it everywhere where you'd use your highlighter. And blend with your finger tip.

Black Eye Pencil:

A black eye pencil is real multitasking product and i love using it. It can be used as kohl, and also as eyeliner. And what i like the most is it's perfect to create smokey eyes in minutes without the help of too many products. I love to draw a rough line along my upper lash line and then smudge it outwards and that's pretty much it.

So that's pretty much it guys, these were my favorites multitasking beauty products that are not only easy to carry but also give you instant makeup looks. I love keeping these in my makeup bag. I hope you guys like it and it helps you all. Stay tuned for more :)

Creating Smokey Eye Makeup in Minutes: Choosing Colors and Products to Use and How to Apply

Ever tried to create that smokey eye and ruined it because you could't choose the right colors? Or it took you so long that you couldn't catch up? Or was perfect but rest of your make didn't go with it? Well here's a solution for all of you. This blog will show you the easiest way to create a perfect smokey eyes in very short time. I've noticed that most of the girls who are in the self-learning process and follow all the instructions are also left dissatisfied with their results due to less or no collaboration in their eye makeup and rest of the face. Here I will show you what type of make will suit your smokey eyes, What products to use and what colors to choose. And in very easy steps. So you can create not only the perfect smokey eye in minutes but also wear the best makeup that can go with your eyes.

Choose Your Color Span:

Choose what type of shades do you want to feature on your eyes. Smokey doesn't really mean Black, it just means dark and smokey and no law in the world can bound you in make up arts anyways. So feel free in choosing your colors.
I'm Still going to give you a general idea on what colors to use for specific type of eyes.

Green Eyes:

If you have green eyes Plum and purple color can pop your smokey eye up in a very nice way. Use purple, plum, grey and even try out flame colors as your transition colors. Grey and black smoke will look perfect on you.

Blue eyes:

You guys can try out brown, bronze, copper and gold colors. Black and dark brown smoke will go as perfect contrast your eyes.

Hazel Eyes:

Use greens, blues and all such colors as transition colors to pop your eyes up. A rose gold color highlighter will also add up much to your look. Grey smoke will look very nice.

Black and brown eyes:

You have no laws :p you can choose any theme you like and it will look wonderful. However there is one thing about dark brown eyes, the darker eye-make up you use, the lighter your eyeball appears. Esp by lining the inner &/or outer lash-lines with black will bring this instant change, so just keep that in mind and decide what do you wanna go for.

What Type Of Shades To Use For Smokey Eye Makeup;

For the highlighters you can use creamy consistency as it tends to give more definition. The base colors and transition colors, whatever color they may be, should be matte because they're just acting as background for the actual color. The darkest color that is going to be used as the smokey shadow works best when it's loose powder as it contributes to better blending.

How To Choose Colors For Smokey eye Makeup Look:

You have to choose four colors that can fit in the following four categories;

The Shimmery Highlighter:

I is going to be the lightest, brightest, most illuminating shade, i usually choose my regular highlighter for this one.

The Matte Medium/Base Color:

It's going to be all over your lid. The base color should be matte because it is not their to speak for itself to let other colors pop up the best. This color is going to even out your eye lid so all other colors can illuminate perfectly.

The Transition Color:

This should be somewhat lighter than the dark smokey color you will be using next. It's more like contour of the eyes. As far as typical smokey eye makeup is concerned, brown shades are perfect as transition colors as it creates and redefines your crease and also act as a transition for your smokey shade.

The Smokey Color, Darkest Shade:

It's is the darkest shade and man of the show. It's is usual black, grey black but color span can always vary. However for smokey eye that I'm showing you guys here, black is prefect because less is more and also because somehow blending black eye-shadow is much faster may be due to dark pigmentation something but it's always quicker when it's black. Plus another thing i love about black eye shadow as the smokey color is you'll always end up with the same look every time you try it.

Essential Products To Use For Smokey eye makeup:

Eye-Shadow Primer:

This is a must if you don't want you eye make up to eventually look like a bruise mark. Smokey eye make is always very dark and if it doesn't stay in it's place it can ruin you entire face. You must use a good quality primer so your make up stay on for hours.up:

Eye Shadows:

You will obviously need eye shadow kits that has the desired colors you want to go with. For general smokey eye, i prefer taking Urban Decay Naked 2 palette and a matte black eye-shadow of any brand. As long as it's matte.

Eye Liner & Eyepencil:

You will need eyeliner to redefine your eye make up. It also give a neat look and a sense of completeness to your eye make up. For smokey eyes, black liner is most appropriate choice. Also Get your self an eyepencil of the same pitch black color to apply it into the lower lash line.

Mascara;

You can use mascara if you like, i prefer curling my lashes as they're super long and thck, but they are straight, so curling my lashes does it all for me.

Concealer;

concealer will correct the dark under eye areas and brighten up the dull skin, for smokey eye can NEVER look anything even close to pretty if you have dark circles.

Get Smokey in Minutes:

1) Start out with a clean face, apply your eye-shadow primer all over your eyes.

2) Apply the matte base color to you eye lids to even out the skin tone of your eyes.

3) Apply highlighter to your brow-bone, and you inner corners. Apply highlighter to the inner corner of you lower lids too.

4) Use the transition color, in my case it's the color TEASE from Naked 2 palette. Apply it into your crease using back and forth motion.

5) Time to create the smoke;

  • Start applying very less amount of the black shadow in the out corner of you eyes and connect it with you crease line by drawing a U shape or a V shape, which ever you prefer, outwardly
  • Apply some more of the dark eye shadow along the lash line in the outer corners of your eyes and blend it outward and upwardly. Keep reapplying till you get the desired consistency.
  • Blend Blend Blend.
  • Use the transition color below the middle of your lower lash line and use the dark shade to blend it to the out corner of your lower lid.

6) Apply a pencil eyeliner into your lash line, you can use a kohl pencil for this too. Apply the liquid/gel based Eyeliner on top of your lash line.

7) I prefer using concealer after your eye makeup, once you're done, wipe the fall outs from your face and apply concealer carefully to your under eye areas. And blend it nicely to get desired coverage.

8) Curl your lashes and apply Mascara to finish up your eye make up.

Makeup For Rest of the Face With Smokey Eyes:

1)You can use a full coverage foundation and complete make up base To get that flawless skin tone.

2)Highlight You cheek bones, center of your forehead, bridge of your nose, chin and your cupid's bow.

3)Use a peach blush to get neutral look.

4)Wear a glossy nude lip color and you're good to go.

I hope you guys like my blogs. I use images from google search and i don't claim to own them them. Image i upload with my blogs are just for you guys to understand it better so it can help you in getting the idea.

Common Lip Problems And Solutions To Them

Hey beauties! This blog is gonna be about the common lip problems and their solutions. I will discuss with you the most occurring lip problems and what can you do to heal the dry, damaged and chapped lips in winters. I'll also recommend my favorite home remedies for common lip problems and easy skincare routine step to avoid dry and sore lips.

All you have to do is follow these easy simple steps and you'll hopefully be free from dry lip  issues all these winters.

Healing Sore Lips:

So first things first, when you have a problem, you look for the cure to it. SO if you already have chapped, dry or sore lips, you will certainly want them to heal first. And in order to heal you sore lip, you have to stop doing it the way you have been doing it all this time. There are some do's and don'ts that you must apply and avoid respectively, to get it sorted.

Things To Avoid:

Avoid Smoking:

If you're a smoker, here's a bad news for you. You're aging faster than your age fellows and will often get terrible skin problems including wrinkles. Smoking can lead to dehydrated lips and can cause discoloration, dryness and wrinkled lips. You must reduce or quit smoking to get better results.

Don't Breath Through Your Mouth:

Avoid breathing from your mouth and try to breath through your nose. If you have any nasal problem go and see a doctor but if that's just a habit it should be easy to change.

Don't lick Your Lips:

Licking your lips won't give it any moisture. In fact the saliva dries up taking away even more moisture from the surface of your lips. I can' prove it scientifically but i do believe that licking your lips can also lead to discoloration and blackening of the skin of your lips (you're welcomed to correct me if I'm wrong about it)

Stop Picking/Biting Them:

If you have this habit then you gotta change for good. Picking or biting the skin of you lips will obviously make it worse and you should do anything you can to stop doing this. It can lead to cracked lips and even cause cuts and bleeding. And it looks gross.

Say No To Spicy Food:

Avoid eating too much spicy food as it can leave your lips dry and can cause that burns which will keep you uncomfortable  for hours. Beware the spicy foods in winters! esp the desis :p

Other Products That Can Harm You Lips:

Flavored toothpastes, too much Vitamin A and acidic products/foods can also cause drying and damaging of the lips. These are all to avoid. You must give up on certain habit and stop using certain products to cure your lips.

Products To Use In Winters:

Don't Go Out With Bare Lips:

Even if you're staying indoors or you don't want to wear any make up you still need to apply at least something on your skin and that includes your lips. Your lips are very delicate and can get dry and chapped very easily. So make sure you give them the treatment they deserve. Lip balms are the best to be used but you can use glosses and lipsticks.

Don't Wear Matte:

Wearing matte lip product in winters can also make your lips dry. Matte lipstick and quick dry glosses are my obsession and i can never get enough of it, but i guess this is the time for me to get over it. Try out glossy products to prevent chapped lips.

Use Products Rich In Petroleum:

Pure petroleum or products that have petroleum in it are perfect for lips in winters. They keep them soft and prevent them from drying out. Chapped lips are never a problem if you apply petroleum every night and make it a routine.

Use Lip Friendly Products:

Use lipsticks that have Vitamin E, Shea butter, bee wax or conditioners. Using these ingredients in their own form are beyond the best you could do for your lips. But even if you're a makeup freak, you can always choose the good products.

Skincare Routine For Dried Chapped Lips:

Use Lip balms:

Yes i already said this but not in this sense. Use Lip balm before cleansing your face so the cleanser won't take away the good oils and moisture away from your lips.

Exfoliate Your Lips:

Exfoliate your lips to get rid of dry dead skin and flakes all over your lips, you should exfoliate your lips at least twice a week. This will help you in getting perfect softer lips.

Add a Humidifier To your Room:

Using a humidifier can be beneficial in many other ways too. But here i'll give you a hint, it retains the humidity in the air which means the air is not stealing any moisture from your lips anymore, Got it?

Apply Sunscreen:

Use sunscreen for your lips in order to protect your lips from the harmful rays of sun that can cause drying out of your lips. Sunscreens are very important for your skin and for your lips as well. It doesn't really matter if it's cloudy the harmful rays of sun will still be able to reach and penetrate into your skin and harm it.

Keep You Lips Hydrated:

Give your lips some moisture from with in, drink water and eat vegetables to help your skin retain it's moisture. Fruits are also equally essential but i recommend eating cucumber, melons and drinking plain water as much as you can to keep your skin and lips moistened.

Home Remedies For Dry/Chapped/Sore Lips:

There are a billion remedies for dry lips out there on the internet but I'm only sharing the ones that have worked for me.
1) So the top and most favorite one of mine is using Olive oil, every night. I use Olive Oil every night before going to bed in winters and that help a lot.

2) Rose water is also very easy and helpful remedy. Simply use a cotton pad damp in rose water every morning and every night as you would use a makeup wipe on your lips.

3) Use Sugar as an exfoliator and it can do wonders with in a few minutes.

4) Chop a slice of cucumber into tiny pieces and apply directly on your lips and leave for 5-8 minutes. Wash it afterwards and you will see the difference for yourself.

5) Applying honey directly to your lips and leaving for a few minutes before washing with mild water is also a very effective remedy.

I hope it will help you guys in fighting with lip problems this winter. Let me know if it does. I'll come up with more stuff soon. Take care :)
